My EOS Lip Balm Collection!

Hi guys!

Long time no talk! Sorry about that, it's been an insane week and I'm glad it's calming down. Recently I went shopping with my mom and she knows I have an obsession with my EOS (Evolution of Smooth) Smooth Sphere Lip Balms and Ulta had the purple one (I've been wanting it and looking for it for forever) and she bought me the little two pack it came in. And she also got me some other colors and now that I have almost all of them I wanted to share my obsession with you.

Just look at how freakin' cute they are!

So the reason I'm obsessed with these lip balms are because they work so well when my lips are chapped. I have tried so many other brands (I love the Vaseline lip therapy and my Nivea lip butter but you have to dip your finger in those and I work at a hospital so I can't take those to work- gross!). The EOS balms smell so good and they go on very creamy. I use them under my lip glosses and lipsticks as a moisturizer as well.

The colors/flavors I have (from left, middle and right) are Raspberry Pomegranate, Strawberry Sorbet, and Summer Fruit.

From left, the purple one (I know it looks pink, but it's like a light lavender color) is Passion Fruit (it's limited edition but they have it at ulta right now) the blue one is Blueberry Acai (yum), the mint colored one is Sweet Mint, and the yellow one is Lemon Drop and it has SPF 15 in it.

I would have to say my favorite one right now is the Passion Fruit because I love the way it smells. I love all of them but I've been carrying that one the most in my purse. I really like that they last a long time too. I think it took me like two or three months to get through a whole one.

Those are all the EOS balms I have right now, I think there is a green and orange one I am missing but I don't mind. I want to get a pretty glass container to put them in when I'm not using them. I have used up two of them but I like to keep them since the packaging is so darn cute!

That's all for my EOS collection, do you guys love them too? Let me know what other lip balms/ chap sticks you've been loving. I like to try new ones out!

Nails of the Week! Sparkles!

Hey everyone!

I wanted to use some sparkles or glitter on my nails this week and I found this gorgeous glitter polish on clearance at Meijers! So I had to use it!

I tried to capture the glitter in this picture, but it doesn't do it justice!!

These are all of the colors I used. For the glitter I used Nicole by OPI "Sweet Dreams" from the Selena Gomez line. It went on really well and I love it! I tried to do a little ombré / raining down effect with the glitter on my nails.

Glitter!!!

The white color I used is "Snow Me White" from Sinful Colors. I used two coats of this before layering the glitter on.

For the top and base coat I used my two new favorites Sally Hansen's Diamond Strength Base and Top Coat ( I just use this as a top coat) and for base coat I used Seche Clear Crystal Clear Base Coat. These two together make my polish last so long!

Hope you liked my nails this week! I'm trying to add more spring colors to my collection as well so let me know what colors you guys have been loving!

What's in my Ipsy Glam Bag: March!

Hi guys!

I am so excited to share my Ipsy bag with you this month because I got some amazing products!

First off, let's talk about the bag. At first I was kind of skeptical about it in the Ipsy sneak peak but seeing it in person, I love it! It's from Ipsy's artist line and the artist is Klari for Ipsy and I think it's very creative and cute. I can't wait to see what they come up with for the artist line in the future.

The first item I received in my Ipsy bag is the NYX Love in Rio eye shadow palette in Bikini Bottom Parfait Bikini. OH MY GOSH. I'm IN LOVE. I was already super excited about this product because I love NYX, they are one of my favorite brands and the colors in this little palette are so gorgeous! I want to eat them! (Not literally, but you know what I mean). I can't wait to make a look using these shadows!

The next item I got from my bag is the Pixi Flawless Beauty Primer. I was kind of excited for this because I don't really have any primers, I just use lotion on my face and I've never really tried an official primer before. I tested it on the back of my hand since I was already wearing makeup and a little bit went a long way. In the light it is supppppeerrrr shimmery which can be a good thing because it will give you a nice glow, but I will have to test it under my foundation to see how much shimmer comes through. I might just use it as a highlight. (I apologize that the picture turned out a tad blurry).

The next product I got is the Chella Eyeliner Pen in Indigo Blue. I think I am almost as excited for this product as the NYX eyeshadow palette because I have been wanting to try a indigo blue eyeliner for the longest time! This is great because it has a felt tip super pointed applicator and the color comes off really bright and pretty. It does come off a little dark to me for being an indigo color, but I'm still psyched to use it for spring/summer.

The last item I got in my Ipsy bag this month is the bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie lipstick in Get Ready. When I first saw this color online I thought that this color might come off a little my-grandma-wears-this-to-church-every-Sunday, but it's actually a really pretty mauve-y pink color. I love it! It's perfect  to complement my natural lip color. I think it'll be a good color for spring. It also smells nice and glides on similar to the Revlon Lustrous lipsticks.

Overall, I'd say that this was an awesome glam bag this month and I'm so happy that I got NYX eye shadows and a pink lipstick and an indigo eyeliner. I can't wait to use all these products.

Let me know what you guys think or what you got in your Ipsy bags this month! Thanks for stopping by!

Nails of the Week! Ombré!

Hey guys!

This week I decided that I really wanted to try ombré because I love the way it looks! I have been really liking pastel colors lately so I also wanted to use a pretty light purple too.

This is how my first attempt came out. I used Sally Hansens Hard as Nails in "Lacey Lilac" (one of my favorite colors) and for the ombré I used Sinful Colors "Snow Me White" for a white base coat and then I used Ulta's "On Taupe of the World" for that pretty nude ombré effect.

You can see I only did the ombré as an accent nail since I had never done ombré before, I didn't want to do all of my nails because I felt like that was doing way too much my first time. So I kept it simple and although it didn't turn out perfect, I think it looks really cool and I can't wait to try it out with bright colors!

Of course I used the same base and top coat as last time, Seche Clear Base Coat and Sally Hansens Diamond Strength Base and Top Coat.

I actually really love these two together. The first time I used them my nails lasted four to five days, which is a huge record for me. So I'm happy with it!

Instead of explaining the ombré to you all I think I'll make a post about how to do it and I can show you a step by step process of it! I know I needed to watch a few videos on it before I tried it!

Let me know if that's something you guys would like or if you have any other ideas or questions for me!

MAC Saint Germaine Lipstick Review

Hi guys!

I was soooooooo super excited to do this blog because one, I love lipsticks, two, I love MAC lipsticks! So I went to MAC at Macy's the other day looking for the lipstick in Rose Lily, but they were sold out (sad face). BUT the guy at the MAC counter was super helpful and he was like hey if you mix Saint Germaine with a chap stick or clear lip gloss it looks just like Rose Lily. So he handed me Saint Germaine and Rose Lily was all but forgotten about. This color is just so WOW. It's a beautiful bright pink with a blueish undertone and it's so gorgeous. This year I promised myself that I would wear more bold lipstick colors because I love them so much and I love it when other people wear them so I was like this is my year for bold lips. Plus, this color is perfect for spring and summer.

This particular lipstick is from MAC's Amplified Cream Lipstick line. And true to it's name, it is pretty creamy. At least compared to the matte lipsticks. I put some EOS or Carmex on under it and it's good to go.

This is a swatch but in my opinion, this picture doesn't do it justice. It comes off a tad bit more neon colored in person.

This is what it looks like on me (duckface! lol). There is no colored filter to this picture, I just added the cool bubble lights (from Picsart). But I absolutely love this color and I can't wait for the warm weather to come in so I can wear it everyday.

Overall I give this lipstick a 9/10. The only thing I would change is I wish it wore a little longer. It lasts me about 2-3 hours depending on if I eat or not. (If I eat it's a wrap I have to re-apply it afterward).

Hope you liked this review! Let me know if you have any products you would like me to review and let me know what lipstick colors you've been loving!
